Best GameBoy Game
I'm going to go back to basics for what I consider the best GameBoy game to be, and that's Tetris.
Tetris is the Grandfather of all block stacking games and was owned by everyone who bought the original GameBoy due to it being bundled with the console.
As I'm sure you're aware, the aim of Tetris was to stack different shaped blocks, or Tetrominoes as they are known, and get a full horizontal line. Once you got a line it disapeared, the more lines you got at a time the higher your score. As you got more and more lines that game got faster and faster. It was game over when your blocks hit the top of the screen.
Tetris is without question one of the most addictive games of all time and this shows in the fact new versions are still being released to this very day. As well as that it spawned many, many similar sytle games such as Lumines, Columns and Puzzle Fighter just to name a few.
Tetris shows that it's quite often the most basic of concepts that make the best games.
